How it works
To “offset” your honeymoon, we invest in high-impact clean projects around the globe - like renewable energy or reforestation - that counteract the negative environmental footprint caused by carbon emissions from air travel, etc. For every package purchased, we buy a specific quantity of quality offsets. Package quantities are estimates based on the best industry data (for average footprint for air travel, hotel stays, food consumed) for each type of trip and distance.
Basically, travel has a negative footprint, and we help you do good to outweigh the damage caused to the environment from your honeymoon travel.
Green My Wedding also donates a portion of each purchase to environmental non-profits addressing climate change and a cleaner economy – so we’re not only helping you balance out the bad, but also doing good!
